The Magnum Opus of Jesus Christ: They buried the Lead. The Greatest story that has NEVER been told.
I have come to bury “Saint” Peter, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them.
“Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God,
tell these stones to become bread.”
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.
Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down.
For it is written: “‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike YOUR FOOT against a STONE’
Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’
Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship ME.”
Jesus said to him, “AWAY FROM ME, PETER! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and SERVE HIM ONLY.
Then this devil left him, and angels came and attended him.” Matthew 4:1-11
The good is often buried with their bones.
So let it be with Peter.
“As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will FOLLOW you wherever you go.”
Jesus replied, “FOXES have DENS and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has NO PLACE to lay his head.”
He said to another man, “FOLLOW me.”
But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
Jesus said to him, “LET THE DEAD BURY THEIR OWN DEAD, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”
Still another said, “I will FOLLOW you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.”
Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:57-62
The noble Jesus has told you Peter was ambitious:
Immediately Jesus MADE the disciples get INTO THE BOAT and GO ON AHEAD of HIM to THE OTHER SIDE, while he DISMISSED the CROWD. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a MOUNTAINSIDE by HIMSELF to pray.
Later that night, he was there ALONE, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
But Jesus immediately said to them:
“TAKE COURAGE!
IT IS I.
DONT BE AFRAID”
“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
“COME,” he said.
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, CRIED OUT, “Lord, save me!”
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.
“You of little faith,” he said, “Why did you doubt?” - Matthew 14:22-31
And grievously has Peter answered it.
Here, under leave of Jesus and the rest.
“Peter and his companions had fallen asleep. When they woke up, they saw Jesus’ glory and the two men standing with him. As Moses and Elijah were starting to leave, Peter, NOT EVEN KNOWING WHAT HE WAS SAYING, just BLURTED out, “Master, it’s wonderful for us to be here! Let’s make three shelters as memorials—one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
But even as he was saying this, a cloud overshadowed them, and terror gripped them as the cloud covered them.
Then a voice from the cloud said, “THIS IS MY SON, MY CHOSEN ONE. LISTEN TO HIM
[EVERY SINGLE WORD HE SAID, YOU MUST FOLLOW IT.]
[MY FATHER WILL NOT BE MOCKED]
When the voice finished, Jesus was there ALONE. They DIDN’T TELL ANYONE at that time, what THEY had seen”. - Luke 9:32-36
For Jesus is an honorable man.
“Jesus said, “YOU, faithless and corrupt PEOPLE! How long must I be with you and PUT UP with YOU?” Then he said to the man, “Bring your son here.”
As the boy came forward, the demon knocked him to the ground and threw him into a violent convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit and healed the boy. Then he gave him back to his father. Awe gripped the people as they saw this majestic display of God’s power.” Luke 9:41-43
So are they all, all honorable men.
“Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.” - Luke 20:46
I have come to speak at Peter's funeral. He was my friend, faithful and just to me.
“As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” IMMEDIATLEY, they left their nets and followed him.” Matthew 4:18-20
But Jesus says he was ambitious.
Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.” Matthew 16:23
And Jesus is an honorable man.
When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”
“Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”
Then he asked them, “But who do YOU say I AM?”
Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon Peter, son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being.
Now I say to YOU that YOU are Peter (A MERE STONE), and upon this rock, I will build MY CHURCH, and all the powers of hell, WILL NOT CONQUER IT.
And I will give YOU the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever YOU FORBID on EARTH, will be FORBIDDEN in HEAVEN, and whatever YOU PERMIT on EARTH will be PERMITTED IN HEAVEN.”
Then HE STERNLY WARNED the disciples NOT TO TELL ANYONE that he was the Messiah.” Matthew 16:16-17
Peter has taken in many that are in bondage.
“NOW for some time NOW, Peter HAD practiced SORCERY in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He BOASTED that HE was SOMEONE great, and ALL the people, both high and low, gave HIM their ATTENTION and exclaimed, “This MAN is rightly called by THEM, the Great Power of God.”
They followed HIM because HE had AMAZED THEM for a LONG time with HIS SORCERY but when THEY BELIEVED PHILLIP as HE PROCLAIMED the GOOD NEWS of the kingdom of God and the NAME of Jesus Christ, THEY were baptized with THE HOLY SPIRIT, both men and women. Peter HIMSELF BELIEVED and was BAPTIZED with THE HOLY SPIRIT. (John’s Baptism) And THEN he FOLLOWED Philip EVERYWHERE, astonished by the GREAT SIGNS and MIRACLES he SAW.
When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria HAD ACCEPTED (Surrendered To) the WORD of God, they sent SIMON OF CYRENE and John MARK to Samaria.

Salvation cannot be bought with tithes and loose change in the offering plates. Did this in Peter seem ambitious?
“When they arrived, THEY prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the SPIRIT OF GOD because the SPIRIT OF GOD had NOT YET COME on ANY OF THEM; they had simply been baptized by the HOLY SPIRIT in the NAME of the Lord JESUS. Then Simon and Mark placed THEIR HANDS on THEM, and THEY RECEIVED the SPIRIT OF GOD.
When Peter saw that the SPIRIT OF GOD was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered THEM money and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I, MYSELF lay my hands may receive the SPIRIT OF GOD.
SIMON answered: “May YOUR money perish with YOU, because YOU thought YOU could BUY the GIFT of GOD with MONEY!
YOU have NO PART or SHARE in THIS MINISTRY, because YOUR HEART is NOT RIGHT before God.
REPENT of this WICKEDNESS and PRAY to THE LORD in the HOPE that HE may FORGIVE YOU for having SUCH a FOOLISH thought in YOUR HEART.
For I SEE that YOU are FULL of BITTERNESS and CAPTIVE to SIN.”
THEN PETER answered, “Pray to the Lord for me so that nothing you have said may happen to me.”
After they had further proclaimed the Word of the Lord and testified about Jesus, SIMON OF CYRENE and MARK returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many Samaritan villages.” Acts 8:9-25
When that the poor have cried,
“Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”
Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”
The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
“Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “EVEN THE DOGS EAT the CRUMBS that FALL from THEIR MASTER’S table.”
Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.” Matthew 15:21-28
Peter has wept:
Again Jesus said, “Peter, do YOU love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
The THIRD TIME he said to him, “Peter, do YOU love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the THIRD TIME, “Do YOU love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. Very truly I tell you, when YOU were younger YOU dressed yourself and went where YOU WANTED; but when YOU are old, YOU will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “FOLLOW ME!”
John 21:16-17
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff:
Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”)
When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?”
Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to YOU? “
“YOU MUST FOLLOW ME”
“Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus DID NOT SAY that he would NOT DIE; he ONLY said, “IF I want HIM to remain alive until I return, what is that to YOU?” John 21:20-23

Yet Jesus says he was ambitious.
Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written:
“‘I will strike the shepherd,
and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’
“But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”
Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me, THREE TIMES.”
But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.”
And Jesus is an honorable man.
Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. STAY HERE and KEEP WATCH WITH ME.”
Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men KEEP WATCH WITH ME for one hour?” he asked Peter. “WATCH AND PRAY so that YOU will not fall into temptation. The SPIRIT is WILLING, but YOUR flesh is WEAK.”
Matthew 26:36-41
You all did see that at the Sanhedrin,
Three times he was presented a kingly crown,
Which he did deny three times. Was this ambition?
Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. “You also were with Jesus of Galilee,” she said.
But he denied it before them all. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said.
Then he went out to the gateway, where another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, “This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth.”
He denied it again, with an OATH: “I don’t know the man!”
After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, “Surely you are one of them; your accent gives you away.”
Then he began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know the man!”
Yet Jesus says he was ambitious.
Immediately a rooster crowed.
Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken: “Before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.“

And certainly, Jesus is an honorable man.
“Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and FOLLOW me.” Matthew 16:24
I speak not to disprove what Jesus spoke, But here I am to speak what I do KNOW.
“Woe to YOU, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! YOU shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. YOU yourselves DO NOT enter, nor will YOU LET those enter WHO are TRYING to.
“Woe to YOU, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! YOU travel over land and sea to WIN a single convert, and when YOU have succeeded, YOU make them twice as much a SON OF HELL as YOU are.
“Woe to you, blind guides! YOU say, ‘Whoever takes an oath by the sanctuary, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gold of the sanctuary is bound by his oath.’ YOU BLIND FOOLS! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? Matthew 23:13-17
You all did love Christ ONCE and for reason:
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins AGAINST ME? Up to seven times?”
Jesus answered, “I TELL YOU, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
“Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold was brought to him. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
“At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with ME,’ he BEGGED, ‘and I will pay back everything.’
The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.
“But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.
“His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’
“But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.
“Then the master called the servant in. ‘YOU wicked servant,’ he said,
‘I canceled all that debt of YOURS because YOU begged me to. Shouldn’t YOU have had mercy on YOUR fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
“This is how MY heavenly Father will treat each of YOU unless YOU FORGIVE your brother or sister from YOUR HEART.” Matthew 18:21-35
What reason now holds you back? To mourn his death?
Then John’s disciples came and asked HIM, “HOW is it that WE and THE PHARISEES fast OFTEN, but YOUR DISCIPLES DO NOT FAST?”
Jesus asked THEM a NEW question,
“WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD MY BELOVED GUESTS, MY DISCIPLES WHO KNOW ME, AND WHO THEREFORE FOLLOW MY PRECEPTS,
WHY WOULD THEY MOURN FOR ANYTHING?
YOU SHOULD NOT BE SURPRISED AT MY saying,
“YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.”
The time WILL COME when Jesus Christ WILL BE TAKEN from THEM.
Then THEY will fast.
“NO ONE sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear WORSE. Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins.
If THEY do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, THEY pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” - Matthew 9:14-17
Oh judgment! Thou art fled to brutish beasts,
Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”
“You have said so,” Jesus replied.
When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?”
But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.
Now it was the governor’s custom at the festival to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus Barabbas. So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked THEM,
“Which one do you want me to release to YOU: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” For he knew it was out of self-interest that THEY had HANDED Jesus over to him.
While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of HIM.”
But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the CROWD to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.
“Which of the two do YOU want ME to release to YOU?” asked the governor.
“Barabbas,” THEY answered.
And men have lost their reason.
“WHAT shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked.
THEY ALL answered, “CRUCIFY HIM!”
“Why? What crime has HE committed?” asked Pilate.
But they shouted all the louder, “CRUCIFY HIM!”
When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the CROWD.
“I AM innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is YOUR responsibility!”
ALL THE PEOPLE answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”
Then he released Barabbas to them. But HE had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.” - Matthew 27:11-26
Bear with me;
“The next day Peter started out with them, and some of the believers from Joppa went along. The following day he arrived in Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. But Peter made him get up. “STAND UP,” he said, “I am only a MAN myself.”
While talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I SHOULD NOT call anyone IMPURE OR UNCLEAN. So when I was sent for, I came WITHOUT RAISING ANY OBJECTION.
May I ask why you sent for me?”
Cornelius answered: “Three days ago I was in MY HOUSE praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothes stood before me and said, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, who lives by the sea.’ So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us.”
Then Peter began to speak: “I NOW REALIZE how TRUE it is that God does not SHOW FAVORITISM but accepts from every nation the ONE who fears him and DOES what is right.
You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit AND POWER, and how he WENT AROUND DOING GOOD and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
“We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a cross, but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen. He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen
[WITNESSES WHO EAT AND DRINK WITH HIM DAILY BECAUSE WE HAVE TOTALLY SURRENDERED TO FOLLOWING ALL OF HIS PRECEPTS . THIS ALLOWS HIM TO BE RAISED FROM OUR ONCE DEAD HEARTS AND FOR THEN TO FINALLY RECEIVE THE SPIRIT OF OUR FATHER GOD, WHICH IS THE ONLY SPIRIT THAT BRINGS ABUNDANT LIFE.]
He commanded us to preach to ALL people in our daily lives and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living AND the dead. ALL the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins THROUGH his name.”
[Through means to GO IN one side and then to COME OUT the opposite side. IT IS A LONG PROCESS. DO YOU STILL NOT UNDERSTAND?]
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who HEARD the message. The believers who had come with Peter who had already earned their spiritual circumcision and therefore had received the SPIRIT OF GOD were astonished that the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT had been poured out even on Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.
Then Peter said, “SURELY NO ONE CAN STAND IN THE WAY of themselves being baptized with THE HOLY SPIRIT as THEY have received the HOLY SPIRIT just as WE have.”
So HE ORDERED that THEY be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ so that that they can earn the SPIRIT OF GOD. Then THEY asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.”
Acts 10:9-23
My heart is in the coffin there with Peter, And I must pause till it come back to me.
The apostles and the believers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God. So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him and said, “YOU went INTO the houses of uncircumcised men and ate with THEM.”
Starting from the beginning, Peter told them the whole story: “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large cloth being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was. I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles and birds. Then I heard a voice telling me,
‘Get up, Peter. KILL and EAT.’
“I replied, ‘Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’
“The voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘DO NOT call anything impure that God has MADE CLEAN.’ This happened THREE TIMES, and then…
IT WAS ALL PULLED UP TO HEAVEN… AGAIN…
“Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying. The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them.
These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house. He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. HE will bring YOU a message through which YOU and ALL YOUR ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD will be SAVED.’
“As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at THE BEGINNING.
Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water, but YOU will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ So if God gave THEM the same GIFT he gave US who MERELY only believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, WHO was I to think that I could STAND in God’s way?”
When THEY heard this, THEY had NO FURTHER OBJECTIONS and praised God, saying, “SO THEN, even to nobodies LIKE ME, God has GRANTED REPENTANCE THAT LEADS TO ETERNAL LIFE.” Acts 11:9-18

Therefore DO NOT LET ANYONE JUDGE YOU by what YOU EAT or DRINK, or with ANY REGARD to how YOU celebrate YOUR religion , or astrology or however YOU spend YOUR Sunday.
THESE ARE JUST a MERE COBWEB OF THE THINGS that WERE to come; BUT WILL NOT NOW!!
(THEY LEAN on THE COBWEB, but it GIVES WAY; THEY CLING TO IT, BUT IT DOES NOT HOLD” JOB 8:15)
THE REALITY, however, is found IN CHRIST. Do not let ANYONE who delights in FALSE HUMILITY and the WORSHIP OF CHRIST ON A DEAD CROSS disqualify YOU. THEY CLING TO IT!
